'Impromptus' au sens de l'inattendu : trois pièces contrastées, nées d'une amitié nouvelle, interrogeant chacune dans un climat différent le besoin à la fois de se retrouver ou se reconnaître, et la nécessité de se renouveler et d'élargir ses horizons. La partition joue donc de la répétition autant que de la réinvention ou la transformation permanente des motifs et de l'harmonie, tout en cherchant à composer un parcours qui fasse sens. Une petite célébration du bonheur des rencontres insoupçonnées et de la poésie de l'inattendu.
‘Impromptus’ in the sense of the unexpected: three contrasting pieces, born from a new friendship, each questioning, in a different atmosphere, the simultaneous need to reunite or recognize oneself, and the necessity to renew and broaden one’s horizons. The score therefore plays with repetition as much as with the constant reinvention or transformation of motifs and harmony, while seeking to compose a journey that makes sense. A small celebration of the joy of unexpected encounters and the poetry of the unforeseen.
